We’ve got some great news! The platform has expanded its reach in Central Asia.

Last week, Amazon launched in Egypt and replaced their localized Souq.com store.

But in comparison with their launch in Poland earlier this year, Amazon only recently started recruiting new sellers in Egypt. At the end of July, they introduced Seller Central – less than 2 months before launching.

Amazon is running their FBA service there, where orders over 350 EGP (or $22) qualify for free shipping.

The influence of the platform in Asia is evolving, including their access to markets like Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. Which for sellers only means there are more opportunities to come.
